Gulf Model School in Dubai is currently hiring an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support a safe and compliant educational environment.

The role is suitable for HSE professionals with previous experience in a school or educational institution and strong knowledge of workplace safety, inspections, emergency procedures, and incident reporting.

Position

Health & Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor school Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections across classrooms, laboratories, and facilities
• Monitor fire safety systems and emergency exits
• Coordinate fire drills and emergency preparedness activities
• Investigate accidents and incidents
• Maintain HSE records and documentation
• Conduct safety training and awareness activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Health & Safety or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an HSE Officer in a school or educational institution
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification preferred
• UAE experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of local Health & Safety requirements is an advantage
