SWA – Mohammad Shehab Alfarsi Advocates & Legal Consultants is currently hiring an experienced Accountant to join its team in Dubai.

The role is suitable for candidates with solid UAE accounting experience, strong knowledge of VAT and local accounting practices, and hands-on experience managing daily financial operations.

Position

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare invoices and receipts
• Prepare financial statements
• Handle UAE VAT preparation and filing
• Support UAE tax compliance requirements
• Manage payroll activities
• Support HR-related financial or administrative tasks when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of UAE accounting experience is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT
• Good understanding of UAE accounting practices
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Previous law firm or professional services experience is an advantage
