Location: Dubai
Joga Ram Group of Companies is seeking an experienced General Accountant to manage accounts payable, supplier payments, and vendor relationships across their Construction, Interior Fit-Out, Manufacturing, Trading, and Real Estate divisions in Dubai.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounts payable cycle across multiple companies and branches
- Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documents
- Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely processing within agreed credit terms
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Handle advance, retention, and subcontractor payments
- Monitor payables aging and prepare accurate MIS reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Industry background in Construction, Fit-Out, Manufacturing, or Trading preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance regulations
