Royal Gas is seeking a full-time Mechanical Technician in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for LPG/SNG systems while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) of LPG/SNG systems and equipment.
• Inspect tanks, pipelines, pressure regulators, vaporizers, manifolds, and gas meters.
• Replace worn or damaged components before failure occurs and maintain checklists.
• Diagnose and repair faults in LPG/SNG systems and attend emergency breakdowns.
• Repair or replace defective valves, regulators, gauges, hoses, fittings, and pipelines.
• Perform leak detection, pressure testing, and routine inspections of gas installations.
• Test gas detection systems, emergency shut-off devices, and verify system pressure.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures, and UAE gas safety standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
• Technical certification in LPG/SNG systems is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in LPG/SNG maintenance, gas distribution, or central gas systems.
• Experience in PPM, corrective maintenance, and emergency breakdown response.
• Facilities Management (FM) experience and UAE driving license preferred.
• Physically fit to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to work emergency call-outs, weekends, and public holidays.
